Abstract
Although it lies in a wast geography and scattered around the Turkic world exhibits the unity of cultural aspects besides linguistic and ethnic unity. One of these cultural aspects is the folk songs in which, however, melody and insights could differ from one group of people or geography to another. Nevertheless, subjects and other parts of songs including method could show a great deal of similarity if not the same.

Türklük âlemi, çok geniş bir coğrafyaya yayılmasına ve bir çok irili ufaklı gruplara bölünmesine mukabil, dil ve soy birliğinin dışında kültür unsurları bakımından da birlik sergiler. Bu kültür unsurlarından birisi de türkülerdir. Bu türkülerde, söyleyiş ve ezgi yönünden topluluktan topluluğa veya bölgeden bölgeye farklılıklar görülebilir. Ancak konu ve türkülerde yer alan unsurlar veya yöntem bakımından benzerlik hatta birliktelik görülür.
