KAZASKER MÜEYYEDZADE ABDURRAHMAN ÇELEBI'S LITERARY LOCALITY

Abstract

This article, which briefly touches the subject of patronage and refers to the literary locality in the Turkish cultural geography, evaluates the science and art circle formed aroundMüeyyedzade Abdurrahman Çelebi, which we initially saw in Amasya during the period of II.Bayezid's princehood. As can be seen in the kasides and mersias written to him, his main highlight is his scientific side. Thereafter, his protection, interest and support on art/artist comes.His poetry and penmanship are less well known. In this article, although all aspects ofMüeyyedzade are mentioned, his science and art environment that took place in his mansionand his office was evaluated. The faces that he protected, raised and made civil servants, werediscussed. It is understood that Abdurrahman Efendi, brought in many brilliant figures toTurkish science and literature.

Patronaj konusuna kısaca temas edilen ve Türk kültür coğrafyasındaki edebi muhitlere yer yer atıfta bulunulan bu makale, II. Bayezid’in şehzadeliği dönemindeki Amasya muhitinde gördüğümüz Müeyyedzade Abdurrahman Çelebi’nin hamiliğini ve etrafında meydana gelen ilim ve sanat halkasını değerlendirmektedir. Kendisine yazılan kasidelerde ve mersiyede de görüldüğü üzere onun esas öne çıkan yönü ilmi veçhesidir. Daha sonra hamiliği ve sanata/sanatçıya olan ilgi ve desteği gelir. Şairliği ve hattatlığı ise daha az bilinir. Bu makalede, Müeyyedzade’nin tüm yönlerine değinilmekle beraber asıl onun konağında, makamında meydana gelen ilim ve sanat muhiti değerlendirilmiş; koruyup kolladığı, yetiştirip memuriyet verdiği simalar ele alınmış; Abdurrahman Efendi’nin, Türk ilim ve edebiyatına nice parlak simalar kazandırdığı anlaşılmıştır.
