Abstract

Objective: For this current study, our aims were to investigate the relationships between HbA1c with neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet lymphocyte ratio (PLR) which are accepted as new markers of systemic inflammation and the relationships between HbA1c with CRP and sedimentation, which are accepted as strong inflammation markers in healthy, prediabetic and diabetic groups. Materials and Method: Our study was conducted retrospectively from the results of patients who applied to our hospital. Patients, who had glucose, HbA1c, CRP, sedimentation and whole blood test results, were recruited for the research. NLR was calculated by the ratio of the absolute numbers of neutrophils and lymphocytes to each other and PLR was calculated by the ratio of platelets and lymphocytes to each other in whole blood count test result. Patients were divided into 3 groups as normal (HbA1c

Hastalar normal(HbA1c
