PROBLEMS THAT TAIWANESE STUDENTS ENCOUNTER DURING LEARNING TURKISH AND PROPOSED SOLUTIONS

TAYVANLI ÖĞRENCİLERİN TÜRKÇE ÖĞRENİRKEN KARŞILAŞTIKLARI SORUNLAR VE BU SORUNLARA YÖNELİK ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ

Abstract

In this study, the problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language in Taiwan and the suggestion of solutions for these problems are being emphasized. As the population of the study, the instructors who worked in and all the students who studied in National Chengchi University’s Department of Turkish Language and Culture were selected and opinions were taken from the selected instructors and students. Within the scope of the research, the researcher participated in the lessons by observing the students and instructors in order to indicate the problems they encountered during the Turkish learning and teaching process. In the results of the study, the problems and effects caused by Chinese sentence structure, the students, the instructors, the teaching materials and the educational environment in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language in Taiwan have been explained and the proposed solutions which should be considered for development of Turkish teaching in Taiwan have been presented.

Özet

Bu araştırmada Tayvan’da yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunların tespit edilmesi ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni olarak Ulusal Chengchi Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Kültürü Bölümünde görev yapan öğretmenler ve tüm öğrenciler seçilmiş, örneklem olarak seçilen öğretmen ve öğrencilerden görüş alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında öğrencilerin ve öğretmenlerin Türkçe öğrenme ve öğretim sürecinde karşılaştıkları sorunları belirtmek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından derse katılarak gözlem yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarında Tayvan’da yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretiminde Çincenin yapısından, öğrencilerden, öğretmenlerden, öğretim materyallerinden ve eğitim ortamından kaynaklanan sorunlar ve etkiler açıklanmış, sonraki süreçte Tayvan’da Türkçe öğretiminin geliştirilmesi için dikkate alınması gereken çözüm önerileri üzerinde sunulmuştur.
