DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF TRAFFIC EDUCATION WEB SITE PREPARED ACCORDING TO DOMINANT INTELLIGENCE TYPE

BASKIN ZEKÂ TÜRÜNE GÖRE HAZIRLANMIŞ TRAFİK EĞİTİMİ WEB SİTESİNİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ VE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

This article was prepared in order to demonstrate Web aided instruction (WAI) module prepared considering the individual differences of the students. A web site based on the type of dominant intelligence has been developed. Course activities can be assessed through forward and backward navigation, and individual responses can be given to each activity. For this investigation, during 8 weeks, applications have been done to with 33 students at 4th grade of primary school and at the end of these applications; an inquiry survey has been applied. In addition, at the end of the application, the opinions of the class teacher, and 33 parents of the students were taken. “Student Opinion Questionnaire”, “Teacher Interview Form” and “Parent Interview Form” were given within the settings of the research. Frequency and percentage distributions were used to determine students’ opinions. Teacher and parent opinions were analyzed qualitatively. According to the results of the analyses of the data, Students' opinions on the website are positive. So it can be said that students like Web aided instruction (WAI), taken interests, to facilitate learning, to think is also an applicable web site to other classes. Additionally, opinions of teachers and parents on (WAI) were found out as positive.

Özet

Bu makale, öğrencilerin bireysel farklılıkları dikkate alınarak hazırlanmış bir Web destekli bir öğretim modülüdür. Baskın zekâ türüne göre hazırlanmış bir web sitesi geliştirilmiştir. Ders etkinlikleri ileri ve geri takip edilebilmekte, her bir etkinliğe ayrı ayrı cevap verilebilmektedir. Bu araştırma için ilköğretim 4. sınıfta okuyan 33 öğrenciye 8 hafta uygulama yaptırılmış ve uygulama sonunda anket uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca uygulama sonunda sınıf öğretmenin ve 33 öğrenci velisinin görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Öğrenci Görüş Anketi”, “Öğretmen Görüşme Formu” ve “Veli Görüşme Formu” uygulanmıştır. Öğrenci görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacı için frekans ve yüzde dağılımları kullanılmıştır. Öğretmen ve veli görüşleri ise nitel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin web sitesine ait görüşleri olumludur. Yani öğrencilerin; WDÖ’den hoşlandıkları, ilgilerini çektiği, öğrenmelerini kolaylaştırdığı, web sitesinin başka derslerde de uygulanabileceğini düşündükleri söylenebilir. Ayrıca, WDÖ ilişkin öğretmenlerin ve velilerin görüşleri de olumludur.
