Helminths found in some fishes from the Dogancı dam (Bursa)

Abstract

This study was carried out between the years of 1998-1999. Samples of fish were obtained periodically for each month from a study area. In this study, the presence of helminths has been determined in the following species of fish from the Dogancı Dam: Cyprinus carpio, Esox lucius, and Capoeta tinca species. At the end of study, 2 species of Monogenea (Dactylogyrus extensus and Tetraonchus monenteron) and Nematoda (Contracaecum sp ) were recorded.

Özet

Araştırma 1998 - 1999 yıllarında gerçekleştirilmiş olup, araştırma bölgesinde aylık periyotlar halinde olmak üzere örneklemeye gidilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Doğancı baraj gölünden yakalanan Cyprinus carpio, Esox lucıus, Capoeta tinca türlerine ait balıkların helminthleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Monogenea'dan 2 (Dactylogyrus extensus, Tetraonchus monenteron) ve Nematoda'dan (Contracaecum sp ) türün bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.
