Abstract

In this study carried out between July 29-January 10, 1995, sheatfish (Silurus glanis L.) have been investigated. Twenty-five fish were found to be infected. During this study, Ancylodiscoides siluri (Monogenea), 24 Eustrongyloides spp. (Nematoda) and 2 Ligula spp. (Cestoda) were identified. Until now, only Ancylodiscoides siluri was known to be found on the gills of the sheatfish. This is the first time that Eustrongyloides spp. and Ligula spp. have been found in the intestines of sheatfish in Turkey.

Özet

29.07.1995 -10.12.1995 tarihleri arasında yapılan bu çalışmada 27 adet Yayın balığı (Silurus glanis L.) incelenmiş olup, bunların 25'inin parazitli olduğu saptanmıştır. Çalışma sırasında 3 helminth türüne rastlanılmıştır. Bunlar Ancylodiscoides siluri (monogenea), Eustrongyloides sp. (nematoda) ve Ligula sp. (Cestoda) 'dir. Türkiye'de şimdiye kadar Yayın balığı üzerinde sadece Ancylodiscoides siluri kayıt edilmiştir. Eustrongyloides sp. ve Ligula sp. ilk kayıttır.
