Abstract

This study was carried out in the Military School of the Veterinary Medicine and Training Center in Gemlik-Bursa, Turkey. Between the months of April and May 2000, a total of 140 sera were examined for the presence of anti-Leishmania infantum IgG antibodies using the IFA test. Anti-Leishmania infantum IgG antibodies were not detected in the soldiers.

Özet

Bu çalışma Nisan-Mayıs 2000 tarihleri arasında Bursa-Gemlik Askeri Veteriner Okulu ve Eğitim Merkez Komutanlığı'nda yapılmıştır. Toplam 140 serum IFAT ile Leishmania infantum'a karşı oluşan IgG antikorları yönünden incelenmiştir. Serumların hiçbirinde IgG antikorlarına rastlanmamıştır.
