Abstract

The contractile vacuoles of the ciliated protozoon, Ophryoscolex purkynjei, living in the rumen of cattle was studied using the transmission electron microscope. It has been shown that the contractile vacuoles are surrounded by many small nephridioplasmic canals and vesicles.

Özet

Sığırların işkembesinde yaşayan siliyat ptotozoon, Ophryoscolex purkynjei'nin kontraktil vakuolleri transmisyon elektron mikroskobu ile çalışılmıştır. Diastolik kontraktil vakuollerin çok sayıda, küçük nefridioplasmik kanal ve vesiküller ile çevrelendiği saptanmıştır.
