A Nigerian patient with Schistosoma haematobium in Turkey

Abstract
S. liaematobium eggs were found in the urine sediment of a Nigerian patient with urinary tract complaints and treatment with praziquantel was successful. The epidemiological and clinical significance of S. haematobium has been discussed in detail.

Uriner sistem yakmmalari bulunan Nijeryali bir hastanin idrar sedimentinde Schistosoma haematobium (5. haematobium) yumurtasi tespit edildi ve praziquantel ile başarılı şekilde tedavi edildi. S. haematobium'un epidemiyolojik ve klinik önemi tartışıldı.
