Abstract
In this study, 88 different weed species belonging 25 families were determined in Segetal Flora in cotton fields of Çukurova Region. While Convolvulus arvensis, Prosopis farcia, Amaranthus albus, Chrozophora tinctoria and Cynodon dactylon were widespread in Non-irrigated fields, Cyperus rotundus, Portulaca oleracea, Xanthium strumarium, Echinochloa colonum, Amaranthus retroflexus and Physalis sp. were found to be most common in Irrigated fields. Cynodon dactylon was well established in were the fields has lower underground water level whereas Euphorbia supina and Chenopodium album were met in the fields with higher underground water level. Solanum nigrurn was widespread in slack soils. Trihulus terreslris is found generally in stony fields. Paspalum paspalodes, Chenopodium album and Setaria viridis were met in the fields which have lower than 45 m in altitute. Relations between Segetal Flora and environmental factors need to be studied further.
