Abstract
Winging Scapula (WS) is a condition in which the scapula (usually the medial and inferior borders) is displaced away from the body. WS can occur from neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, or structural causes. WS should be treated as a significant functional problem is not simply an aesthetic issue. Physical examination and diagnostic studies help clinicians to make the correct diagnosis. Diagnosis and treatment of WS will be discussed extensively and data from literature will be presented in this review

Kanat skapula (KS), skapulanın medial kenarının veya inferior açısının göğüs duvarından uzaklaşmasıdır. KS nöromuskuler, muskuloskeletal veya yapısal nedenlerle oluşabilir. KS basit bir estetik sorun olmaktan çok önemli bir fonksiyonel problem olarak görülmeli ve tedavi edilmelidir. Fizik muayene ve tanısal çalışmalar klinisyene doğru tanıyı koymak için yardım eder. Bu derlemede KS tanı ve tedavisi geniş ölçüde ele alınacak ve literatür verileri aktarılacaktır.
