Tacsonomic and faunistic studies on the Chrysopidae (Neuroptera) fauna of Edirne province

Abstract

This study aims to determine Chrysopidae fauna of Edirne. Samples were collected from 43 localities of the region in Spring, Summer and Autumn of 1996. A total of 3 genera and 11 species have been determined. Of these, one species Anisochyrsa inornata is a new record for Turkish Chrysopidae Fauna as well as 10 species (Chrysopa perla, C. formosa, C. viridana, C. nigricostata, C. septempunctata, Anisochrysa flavifrons, A. inornata, A. zelleri, A. clathrata, Chrysoperla camea) are new records for Thrace region. This study contributes to the Turkish Chrysopidae Fauna by increasing the number of species from 2 to 12 for Thrace region and from 33 to 34 for Turkey, thereby the distribution areas of Chrysopidae species have been enlarged.

Özet

Edirne Yöresi'nde Chrysopidae faunasını belirlemeye yönelik bu çalışmada, 1996 yılı ilkbahar, yaz ve sonbaharında araştırma bölgesini karakterize eden 43 lokaliteden materyal toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Chrysopinae altfamilyasına ait 3 cins ve 11 tür tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma bölgesinde tespit edilen 11 türden Anisochrysa inornata, Türkiye Chrysopidae faunası için; 10'u (Chrysopa perla, C. formosa, C. viridana, C. nigri-costata, C. septempunctata, Anisochrysa flavifrons, A. inornata, A. zelleri, A. clathrata, Chrysoperla earned) ise Trakya Bölgesi Chrysopidae faunası için yeni kayıttır. Araştırma sonucunda Trakya Bölgesi Chrysopidae tür sayısı 2'den 12'ye, Türkiye Chrysopidae tür sayısı ise 33'ten 34'e çıkarılmıştır.
