Abstract

The present fauna of gall midges of Turkey includes 71 species belonging to 38 genera. Of them, 62 species are phytophagous and are associated with 59 host plant species. In this study, their zoogeographical analysis and economical importance have also been evaluated.

Özet

Bu çalışmada Türkiye Cecidomyiidae faunası gözden geçirilmiş ve 38 cinse bağlı 71 türden oluştuğu ortaya konmuştur. Bunların 62 tanesi fitofag olup, 59 konukçu bitkide beslendikleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada türlerin ayrıca zoocoğrafi analizi ve ekonomik önemlerine göre değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır.
