The Drugs Used in Astma Exacerbation

Abstract
Asthma is the most frequent chronic lung disease in childhood. Acute asthma exacerbations are episodes of worsening asthma symptoms and lung function. The signs and symptoms can range from mild to severe. They may include wheezing, coughing, chest thigtness, shortness of breath, agitation and difficulty spaeking or breathing. An acute exacerbation requires close monitoring and effective strategies for managing asthma. In this review, we discuss current therapeutic drugs of astma exacerbations and their important properties.

Astım çocukluk çağının en sık kronik hastalığıdır. Akut astım alevlenmeleri astım semptomlarında ve solunumfonksiyonlarında kötüleşme ataklarıdır. Belirti ve bulgular hafif ya da şiddetli olabilir. Hışıltı, öksürük, göğüste sıkışmahissi, nefes darlığı, ajitasyon, konuşmakta veya nefes almakta zorluk görülebilir. Akut alevlenmeler yakın izlem ve astımtedavisinde etkin stratejiler gerektirir. Bu derlemede astım alevlenmesinin güncel ilaçlarını ve onların önemli özelliklerinitartıştık.
