Abstract

Âsaf Hâlet Çelebi (1907-1958) s poems are one of the mostsignificant patterns imprinted by Turkish Poetry to the embroiderycreated from World Literature. With one verse of Çelebi, in his poemnamed Sidharta which gave its name to his third poetry book namedOm Mani Padme Hum, while people are described with a mysticalfeeling in a moment that they integrate with the universe on apsychological platform, the intense metaphorical structure of the poemarising from interaction among different cultures stands out. Theliterary language molded with the concepts of Buddha, Zen andIslamic Sufism philosophy has been refined by combining with thesignificance of sound and has resumed the finest state. Âsaf Hâlet Çelebi (1907-1958)nin ş iiri, Dünya Edebiyatlarındankurulu büyük nakış a Türk Şiiri tarafından iş lenmiş en önemlimotiflerden biridir. Çelebinin, bir dizesi ile de Om Mani Padme Humadlı üçüncü ş iir kitabına adını veren Sidharta ba ş lıklı ş iirinde insan,psikolojik platformda, evrenle bütünle ş tiği bir an içerisinden mistikbir duyuş la resmedilirken, ş iirin farklı kültürlerin etkile ş imindendoğan yoğun metaforik yapısı dikkat çeker. Onda Buddha, Zen veİslâm tasavvuf felsefesinin kavramlarıyla yoğrulmuş olan edebî dil,sese verilen önemle birleş erek incelip safla ş mış tır. Âsaf HâletÇelebinin, ilk dizesinden son dizesine, fikri uyandıran bir ses hâlinialmış olan Sidharta adlı ş iiri Çelebinin yazdığı kültür ş iiri nin iyiörneklerinden biri olarak metin merkezli okuma yoluylaincelenecektir.
