Existence and oneness of gGod in accordance with İbn Rushd

Abstract

İbn Rushd, as an philosopher who represented an objective, consistent and wholistic point of view and put forth his thoughts accordingly, explained ideas in many fields as well as made comments and evaluations in field of Kalam (Islamic theology). İbn Rushd, who defined the science of Kalam as an ''science of dialectic‘, clarified its method as an ''art of dialectic‘. This study seeks to find an answer to the question of how the problem of existence and oneness of God was shaped in İbn Rushd‘ thought which has a central place among the problems of Kalam. In this study, the problem existence and oneness of God was examined as defined and explained in İbn Rushd‘ Works. The study especially dealt with İbn Rushd‘ competency in Kalam, who has been known as expert of Islamic canon law, philosoph, discourser and commentator.

Özet

İbn Rüşd, objektif, tutarlı ve küllî bir bakış açısını yöntem olarak benimsemiş ve buna göre düşüncelerini ortaya koymuş bir filozof olarak, pek çok alanda söz söylediği gibi ''Kelam'' alanında da değerlendirme ve yorumlarda bulunmuştur. Kelam ilmini, ''cedel ilmi'' olarak isimlendiren İbn Rüşd, Kelam ilminin metodunun da ''cedel sanatı'' olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Bu çalışma, Kelam problemleri içerisinde merkezî konumda olan Allah‘ın varlığı ve birliği meselesinin İbn Rüşd düşüncesinde nasıl şekillendiği sorusunu cevaplamayı amaç edinen bir araştırmadır. Bu çalışmada, Allah‘ın varlığı ve birliği meselesi, İbn Rüşd‘ün eserlerinde ele aldığı ve belirlediği şekliyle değerlendirilmiştir. Fakih, mütekellim, filozof ve şârih olarak çeşitli eserleri olan İbn Rüşd‘ün kelâmî yönüne bu araştırmada temas edilmiştir.
