Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of lowering hCG dose, on the development of OHSS and IVF results in patients with serum estradiol levels >2000pg/ml on hCG day. Material and methods: Thirty five patients who had 2500, 3000 or 5000 IU hCG dose and >2000 pg/ml serum estradiol levels on hCG day were prospectively analysed for the ivf parameters and OHSS risk. A control group of retrospectively selected seventy patients who were matched with the study group for age, body mass index and infertility causes were compared with the. study group for ivf results and OHSS risk. Results: The mean age of the patients was 31+4 years. The causes of infertility were malefactor, anovulation, tubal factor or unexplained infertility. Amaç: Östradiol düzeyi 2000pg/mlden fazla olan hastalarda, OHSS’nin önlenmesi amacıyla hCG dozunun düşürülmesinin İVF sonuçları üzerine etkisini belirlemek. Materyal ve Metod: Östradiol düzeyi 2000pg/mlden fazla olup, hCG günü hCG dozu 2500 IU, 3000 IU veya 5000 IU’ya düşürülen, 35 hastada toplanan oosit sayısı, fertilizasyon oranı ve gebelik sonuçları prospektif olarak incelendi. Yaş, vücut kitle endeksi ve infertilite nedenleri eşleştirilmiş retrospektif olarak seçilen, hCG dozu düşürülmeyen 70 kontrol hasta ile OHSS ve IVF sonuçları yönünden karşılaştırıldı.
