Two non-published documents about the education of the non-muslim in the period of II. Abdülhamid

Abstract
Two documents are revealed by this study. The first document demonstrates us how Ottoman Greek are filled with enmity against the Turkish by means of a course book published in Greece in the year of 1893. As for the second document, it reveals that the Armenian have been developed both economically and culturally in regional sense and when compared with the Muslim. The document was sent to the Yıldız Palace by the governor of the Province of Erzurum in 1905. The Armenian owe this developed condition of them to their attaching importance to education.
Özet
Bu çalışmada iki belge ortaya konmuştur. Belgelerden ilki Yunanistan’da basılmış bir ders kitabı aracılığıyla, 1893 yılında, Osmanlı Rumlarının nasıl Türklere karşı düşmanca hislerle donatılmaya çalışıldığını ispatlamaktadır. İkinci belge, Ermenilerin bölgesel anlamda ve Müslümanlar karşısındaki ekonomik ve kültürel gelişmişliklerini, bizzat, bölgenin, Erzurum Vilayeti Valisinin, 1905 yılında Yıldız Sarayı’na gönderdiği bir rapor ile ortaya koymaktadır ki, Ermeniler bu gelişmişliklerini eğitime verdikleri öneme borçludurlar.
