Abstract

Rıza Tevfîk who headed for Positivist/Materialist and Nationalist drift both with his literal side and philosophic side, after leaving the traditional view because of the effect of Young Turk movement that he adopted when he was young, was one of the main figures of "Turkish Rationalization" in both fields.

Özet

Gençliğinde benimsediği Jön-Türk akımının etkisi nedeniyle, gerek edebi yönü ve gerekse felsefi görüşü itibariyle, geleneksel çizgiden çıkarak Pozitivist/Materyalist ve Milliyetçi bir yöneliş içine giren Rıza Tevfîk, her iki alanda da "Türk Modernleşmesinin" başat figürlerinden biri olmuştur.
