Abstract
Background and design: Granuloma faciale is an uncommon disease characterized by usually solitary, occasionally multiple, soft, elevated papules, plaques and nodules occurring on the face. Although numerous therapies have been utilised, the disease is notorious for its stubborn resistance to treatment. We describe a fourty-five year old male patient with granuloma faciale who has characteristic multiple lesions histopathologically. The results of two different therapeutic modalities, cryotherapy and intralesional corticosteroid injection, are presented and evaluated comparatively.
