Abstract

Summary: In this study the traditions of Hab/kab and Değişik/denişik, observed in Erzurum and Adana, have been examined as a sample of folk economy. It has been seen that those two traditional practices have the same functions although they have different names.

Özet: Bu çalışmada halk ekonomisi örneği olarak Erzurum ve Adana yöresinde görülen Hab/kab ve Değişik/denişik, geleneği incelenmiştir. Bu iki geleneksel uygulamanın farklı adlar altında olmakla beraber aynı işlevlere sahip olduğu görülmüştür.
