Abstract
Gölgemi Bıraktım Lâle Bahçelerinde is a historical novel. In the novel that covers the period of Ahmet Third, the writers personality overwelmed by art history is expressed. The novel was formed by means of understanding the paintings of Levnî and their evaluation. The period of Lâle Devri explained and introduced to the present time on the basis of the higher ranking Goverment officers the emusements is a novel with a high quality among the historical novels

Gölgemi Bıraktım Lâle Bahçelerinde tarihi bir romandır. III. Ahmet dönemini anlatan romanda yazarın sanat tarihçisi kimliği kendini hissettirir. Roman âdeta Levnî’nin resimlerinin okunması ve yorumlanmasıyla şekillenmiştir, denilebilir. Lâle Devrini devlet adamları, sanatçıları, yaşantısı ve eğlenceleriyle günümüze taşıyan bu eser, tarihî romanlarımız içinde edebî seviyesi olan, nitelikli bir eserdir
