Reflections from Social Life in Divan Poem: Necatî and Hayretî s Two Poems Narrating Famine of Barley

Abstract
It is possible to come across some information related to social life in almost all genres of diwan poetry; sometimes in different verses, sometimes in the whole poem. Such poems possess a documentary value in terms of cultural history. Based on such a perspective, this study examines the kasides of the two diwan poets, Necatî (D.1509) and Hayretî (D.1534-35), who mention the famine of barley and related problems they had to face with in their periods.
Özet
Divan şiirinin hemen her türünde, kimi zaman farklı farklı beyitlerde kimi zaman da bir şiirin bütününde olmak üzere, sosyal hayata ilişkin bilgilere rastlamak mümkündür. Bu türlü şiirler kültür tarihi açısından önemli birer belge değeri taşımaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada da divan şairlerinden Necatî (ö: 1509) ile Hayretî (ö: 1534- 35)nin kendi dönemlerinde yaşanan arpa kıtlığını ve bundan duydukları sıkıntıları konu ettikleri kasideleri değerlendirilmiştir.
