Visuospatial stimulus-bound automatic writing behaviour ( A right hemispheric stroke syndrome )

Abstract
Three cases with "visuospatial stimulus-bound automatic writing behaviour" were identified among 60 patients with acute right cerebral hemispheric stroke. None of 38 control cases with left cerebral hemispheric stroke demonstrated this behaviour. All three cases had quite similar clinical characteristics and writing behaviour was related only with a visuopatial stimulus. We concluded that this syndrome might be specific for right hemispheric stroke and it might be included among other right hemispheric syndromes.
Özet
Akut sağ serebral hemisferik inme bulunan 60 hasta arasında "vizüospasyal stimulusa-bağımlı otomatik yazma davranışı" gösteren üç olgu belirlenmiştir. Sol serebral hemisferik inme bulunan 38 kontrol olgusunun hiçbiri bu davranışı göstermemiştir. Olguların tümü oldukça birbirine benzer klinik özelliklere sahiptir ve yazma davranışı yalnızca vizüospasyal bir stimulusla bağlantılıdır. Bu sendromun sağ hemisferik inmeler için özel olabileceği ve diğer sağ hemisfer sendromları arasında ele alınabileceği düşünülmüştür.
