Anesthesia in a children with Urticaria pigmentosa: Case report

Abstract
Mastocytosis is a rare heterogeneous disease. Urticaria pigmentosa is the most common form in childhood. Life threatening complications have only reported in adult patients during anaesthesia. However, we, the anaesthesiologists have limited experience in anaesthetic management of paediatric patients with mastocytosis. We present anaesthetic management of a patient who has suffered from urticaria pigmentosa.
Özet
Mastositoz ender görülen heterojen bir hastalıktır. Ürtikerya pigmentoza çocuklarda mastositozun en sık görülen formudur. Mastositozlu erişkin olgularda anestezi sırasında yaşamı tehdit eden komplikasyonlar bildirilmesine karşın çocuk hastaların anestezi deneyimleri kısıtlıdır. Bu makalede ürtikerya pigmentoza tanısı ile izlenen olgunun anestezi yönetimi sunulmaktadır.
