Abstract
Airway management is a fundamental goal of anaesthesiologists. In general, orotracheal intubation is performed in supine position but sometimes it can be performed in a comfortably breathing patient in the sitting/semi-sitting position. In this article we aimed to present oro-tracheal intubation in the sitting position in a geriatric patient scheduled for thyroidectomy operation who could only breathe in the sitting position because of limited cardiac reserve.
