Abstract
Ollier disease is a rare autosomal inherited connective tissue disorder, characterized by enchondromotosis at metaphysis and diaphysis of long bones or tubular portions of short extremities. Shortness, deformities and pathologic fractures of bones are characteristic features. Anatomical abnormalities might effect the choice of anaesthesia technique by causing difficulties for regional anaesthesia in the management of the patients with Ollier disease. In these cases. The problems related with airway control and intubation and also bone fractures due to positioning might be seen. In this presentation, we aimed to evaluate the choice of anaesthesia and related complications in our patient with Ollier disease.
Özet
Multipl enkondromatozis (Ollier hastalığı) uzun kemiklerin metafiz, diyafiz veya ekstremitelerin kısa tubuler bölgelerinde enkondromların varlığı ile karakterize ender kalıtsal bir hastalıktır. Kemiklerde kısalma deformite ve patolojik kırıklarla karakterizedir. Ollier hastalarında anatomik anormallikler rejyonal anestezi uygulamasını zorlaştırarak anestezi yönteminin seçimini etkileyebilir. Bu olgularda hava yolu kontrolü ve entübasyonla ilişkili sorunların yanı sıra pozisyona bağlı kemik kırıkları görülebilir. Makalemizde, karşılaştığımız bir olgu nedeniyle Ollier hastalarında anestezi yöntemleri ve gelişebilecek komplikasyonların değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı.
