E-Learning and Anaesthesiology

Abstract

In recent years, distribution of computers, their amplifying multimedia performance, as well as increased access to the Internet of high band- width, has led to a great interest in the application of new technologies in education. The impact of networks and the Internet on anaesthesiology is undoubtedly important, as it is for medicine as a whole. In this article evaluation, the advantages and disadvantages, effectiveness and future of e-learning in anaesthesiology will be reviewed.

Yeni, ucuz bilgisayar donanım ve yazılımları, bilgisayarların yayılması, in- ternetin hızlanması, genişleyen multimedya gücü bu yeni teknolojilerin eğitim amacıyla kullanılmaları yönünde dikkat çekti. E-öğrenim tıp eğiti- minde de yararı ispatlanmış yaygınlaşan bir eğitim yoludur. Bu derlemede Uzaktan Eğitim-Elektronik Öğrenimin gelişimi, avantaj ve dezavantajla- rı, etkinlik ve verimliliğinin değerlendirilmesi, anesteziyolojide kullanım alanları, e-öğrenim in geleceği irdelenecektir.
