Abstract

VARIOUS ASPECTS OF PULMONARY INVOLVEMENT OF SYSTEMIC LUPUS EYTHEMATOSUS OBSERVED IN A SINGLE PATIENT Pulmonary involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is reported in a variety of frequencies. We observed the evolvement of acute lupus pneumonia to ather diverse pathologies such as lung abscess, pulmonary thromboembolism and interstitial fibrosis in a 66-years old female patient with classic features of SLE who had an eight-year history of typical rheumatoid arthritis. Pulmonary manifestations of SLE is reviewed and discussed.

Özet

Sistemik lupus eritematozusda (SLE) akciğer tutulumu değişen sıklıklarda rapor edilmektedir. 66 yaşındaki bir kadın hastada 8 yıl süren tipik romatoid artrit tablosu klasik SLE'ye dönüşmüş ve akut lupus pnömonisinden başlayarak, birkaç ay içinde akciğer absesi, pulmoner emboli ve interstisyel fibrozis gibi değişik patolojiler gözlenmiştir. Bu hasta dolayısıyle SLE'de görülen akciğer patolojileri gözden geçirilerek tartışılmıştır.
