Endotracheal dynamic stent insertion for the management of tracheomalacia

Abstract
We present a case that we inserted endotracheal dynamic stent for the acute respiratory failure secondaiy to tracheomalacia which occured by the compression of retrosternal goitre. The stent is well tolerated. Post-operative course was uneventful.
Özet
Retrosternal guatr basısı sonucu gelişen trakeomalazide, tiroidektomi sonrası gelişen akut solunum yetmezliği nedeniyle endotrakeal dinamik stent yerleştirdiğimiz olgu sunuldu. Stent hasta tarafından çok iyi tolere edildi. Post-operatif dö¬nemde komplikasyon gözlenmedi.
