The Mental Verbs in Kırghız Turkish

Abstract

The aim of this study is to propound the expression possibilities of language in abstract concepts through firstly explaining the verb notion, and then determining the mental verbs in Kirghiz Turkish. In this study, mental verbs have been handled in the three main titles that are cognition verbs (the verbs that express understanding, thought, intention, request and desire, dream, guess, forgetting, remembering), the verbs of psychological situation (the verbs expressing doubt and suspicion, love, anger, anxiety, apprehension and fuss, fear, astonishment, sadness, shame, regret) and the perception verbs (the verbs of vision, hearing, tasting, smell, handling, regarding with perception verbs).

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı ilk önce mental fiil kavramını açıklamak daha sonra da Kırgız Türkçesindeki mental fiilleri tespit edip soyut kavramlarda dilin anlatım imkanlarını ortaya koymaktadır. Yaptığımız bu çalışmada, Kırgız Türkçesinde tarama yapılarak elde edilmiş olan mental fiiller Biliş Fiilleri (Anlama; Düşünme; Niyet, İstek ve Arzu; Hayal; Tahmin; Unutma; Hatırlama İfade Eden Fiiller), Psikolojik Durum Fiilleri (Kuşku ve Şüphe; Sevgi; Öfkelenme; Kaygı, Endişe ve Telaş; Korku; Şaşırma; Üzüntü; Utanma; Pişmanlık İfade Eden Fiiller) ve Algılama Fiilleri (Görme; İşitme; Tatma; Koklama; Dokunma İle İlgili Algılama Fiilleri) olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında sınıflandırılmıştır.
