A new epigean pseudoscorpion species (Pseudoscorpiones: Neobisiidae) from northeast of Iran, with an identification key to the species of the family Neobisiidae from Iran

Abstract

A new epigean species— Roncus khorasanicus sp.n.—is described on the basis of the description of the adult stage (males)found in north-eastern Iran. A detailed description of the selected morphological characters and accurate illustrations of severaldiagnostic characters of the new species are provided. Moreover, an identification key to the species of the family Neobisiidae from Iranis presented.
