A characteristic particle length

Abstract

It is argued that there are characteristic intervals associated with any particle that can be derived withoutreference to the speed of lightc. Such intervals are inferred from zeros of wavefunctions, which are solutions to theSchr odinger equation. The characteristic length isℓ=2ℏ2=(8Gm3), where= 3:8:::; this length might lead toobservational effects on objects the size of a virus.
