Antistatic fibers

Abstract

The static electric is one of the most important problems in textile industry. When fibers are moved in contact with another object, such as another fiber, an electrostatic charge is generated. This creates a discomfortable and undesirable situation for people. In order to prevent the static problem, new antistatic fibers have been tried to be produced and new methods have been applied to textile fabrics. This paper gives information about antistatic fibers and the new production techniques.

Statik elektrik, tekstil sanayiindeki en önemli problemlerden birisidir. Lifler bir başka nesne ile, bir başka lif gibi, temas ettiğinde elektrostatik bir yük oluşmaktadır. Bu insanlar için rahatsızlık verici ve istenmeyen bir durumdur. Statik sorununu önlemek için, tekstil fabrikalarında yeni antistatik lifler üretilmeye ve kumaşlara yeni yöntemler uygulanmaya çalışılmaktadır.
