Abstract

The Term of Izzeddin Keykavus II became e term in Which important events happened for Turkiye Seljuks State. These events in this term caused enormous developments in the course of Turkish History. Turkiye Seljuks State went under the pressure of Mongols, three princes (sultan’s sons) at early age became ruler (sultan), the effect of public men decreased in management, Turkiye Seljuks State placed in the centre of the political events happened in near east, the state got debt from the out land because of the economical troubles, the system of ikta began to be abnormal and the first settlement of the Muslim Oguz happened in to Balkans in this term. In this article, the research of these events mentioned above, the emphasis of these events for Turkiye Seljuks State and Turkish History and the evaluation of this term in different points of view were defined.

Özet

II. İzzeddin Keykâvus dönemi Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti Tarihi için önemli olayların yaşandığı bir dönem olmuştur. Bu dönemde yaşanan olaylar Türk tarihinin seyrinde önemli gelişmelere yol açmıştır. Türkiye Selçuklu Devletinin Moğol baskısı altına girmesi, çocuk yaştaki üç şehzadenin hükümdar olması, devlet adamlarının yönetimde etkisinin artması, Yakın-Doğu da gelişen siyasi olayların merkezinde Türkiye Selçuklu Devletinin yer alması, Devletin ekonomik sıkıntılardan dolayı dış borç alması, ıkta sisteminde bozulmanın başlaması ve Balkanlara Müslüman Oğuzların ilk yerleşimi bu dönemde gerçekleşmiştir. Makalemizde yukarıda saydığımız olayların araştırılıp incelenmesi, Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti ve Türk tarihi açısından önemlerinin vurgulanması ve o dönemin tarihinin farklı açılardan değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır.
