Polatlı ilçesinde üreticilerin yem bitkileri üretimine karar verme sürecinde etkili faktörlerin belirlenmesi üzerine bir araştırma

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Ankara ili Polatlı İlçesinde, üreticilerin yem bitkileri üretimine karar verme sürecinde etkili olan faktörleri belirlemektir. Söz konusu faktörlerin belirlenmesi sırasında, yem bitkileri üretiminin desteklenmesine yönelik uygulamalar dikkate alınarak, ortaya çıkan ekonomik nitelikteki bu değişkenin üreticilerin karar verme sürecindeki etki derecesini belirlemek ise araştırmanın ikincil amacıdır. Araştırma, altı köyden 80 üretici ile yapılmıştır. Bu üreticilerden 40'ı yem bitkileri üretimi desteklemesinden yararlanan, 4O'ı ise yararlanmayan üreticilerdir. Verilerin toplanmasında anket yöntemi kullanılmış ve elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizinde ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları, üreticilerin yem bitkileri üretimine karar vermelerinde, bireysel özellikler ve işletme özelliklerinin yanı siFa en etkili faktörlerin yem fiyatları, yem bitkilerinin hayvansal üretime katkısı ve yem bitkileri üretiminin desteklenmesini içeren ekonomik faktörler olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Abstract
The objective of this'study was to determine effective factors on farmers' decision making process in forage crops production in Polatlı district. While these effective factors are being determined, support policy for forage crops production that has economic characteristic, have been considered and, determining influences of this policy on farmers' decision making process was the secondary objective of this study. This research was carried out with 80 farmers, of which 40 were still receiving forage crops production support and 40 were not receiving forage crops production support. The data was analyzed statistically and the chi-square test was used to test the relationship between variables. The result of the study showed that; notwithstanding the individual characteristics, farm characteristics, and economic factors which were forage crops* prices, contribution of forage crops on livestock production and support for forage crops production were significiantly related with farmers' decision making process in forage crops production.
