The Use of the Q Keyboard as an Othering Tool: The Comperative Sociological Meanings of Unequality Between Users of Q and F Keyboards

Abstract

We have being told that the world is getting very small and the new technology is covering them. An understanding of the meaning of new technologies has for society must begin with an understanding of types of actors. The technologies that are converging to change the way we live: mobile communications, social networks and use the computers. Information technology especially computer is not the cause of the changes we are living through. But without new information and communication technologies none of what is changing our lives would be possible. When we compare using computer different countries, it has seen great diffarences. This article focus on the concept of 'The Use of the Q Keyboard As an Othering Tool' based on the data obtained from 150 computer user, living in Izmir.
