Tüketim Toplumunda Özgürlük Sorunu

Abstract

This study, dwell upon consumption subject in contemprorary societies. It deals with the reasons of consumption that became an inseparable part of individual’s social class, role, state and identity with the globalization process. Also, individual’s liberty problem will treat in the scope of liberal philosophy which gives rise to ideological legitimation of capitalism. In the way of improving realistic view, the ideologies which appears in relation with consumption practice will be structured analysis as the result of particular political and social conditions.

Bu çalışmada, günümüz modern toplumlarında yaşanmakta olan tüketim olgusu üzerinde durularak, küreselleşme süreciyle birlikte tüketim eyleminin; bireyin sosyal sınıf, rol, statü ve kimliğinin ayrılmaz bir parçası haline gelmesinin nedenlerine değinilecektir. Ayrıca bireyin özgürlük sorununu, kapitalizmin yükselişine ideolojik meşruiyet kazandıran liberal felsefenin mantığı içinde ele alınacaktır. Gerçekçi bir eleştirel bakış ortaya koyabilmek için de, belirli siyasi ve toplumsal koşuların ürünü olarak ortaya çıkan tüketim ideolojisinin yapısal bir çözümlemesi yapılacaktır.
