Abstract

Contrary to the classic understandings, workers in today’s world became more important in organization targets, performance and productivity. The motivations of the workers, adopting organizations, making effort in organization targets and moral values are significant elements in high performance. In order to increase the motivation of workers and to adapt them voluntarily to the organization and organization targets hence is the concern of the leaders. This study aims to display in theory and in practice through the example of Konya Police Department, how the motivation of workers can be achieved in the organizations, the advantages worker motivation provides to the organization and workers, effects of the leaders in motivation process.
