Abstract

In this research, causes of the Soviet people's unresponsiveness against the collapse of the Soviet Union is evaluated. From this point of view; the main purpose of this research is to examine what kind of effects were created by the reasons shown as the causes of the collapse of Soviet Union on the Soviet people and the life. Many questions are brought forth with the collapse of a state like the Soviet Union after 70 years later from the establishment. The causes of the collapse is one of the first questions called to mind, but the studies generally focus on the state system and ideology. However in these studies; evaluations related to people remained in the background, the causes of the Soviet People's unresponsiveness against the collapse and the ties between the state and the people that created it are neglected. In this connection, this study tries to make an assessment about the effects of the environment which is created by the causes led to the collapse of Soviet Union on the people. In this context; this study consists of two main parts:. In the first part "data related to the human life in Soviet Union" is evaluated especially on the basis of the studies benefited from Soviet archives and the official resources. In the second part, "causes of the Soviet Union's disintegration" are assessed. In the final section "reasons of the people's unresponsiveness against the disintegration" are commented by evaluating the both parts

Özet

Bu araştırmada Sovyetler Birliği'nin dağılması karşısında, Sovyet insanın neden tepkisiz kaldığı ele alınmıştır. Buradan hareketle temel amaç; Sovyetler Birliği'nin dağılmasına neden olarak gösterilen sebeplerin, Sovyet insanı ve yaşamı üzerinde nasıl bir etki yarattığını ortaya koymaktır. Sovyetler Birliği gibi bir devletin kurulduktan yetmiş yıl sonra dağılması birçok soruyu da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu soruların başında dağılmanın nedenleri gelmekle, yapılan çalışmalar ise genelde devlet sistemi ve ideoloji üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır. Ancak bu çalışmalarda; "insana ilişkin değerlendirmeler" arka planda kalmış, Sovyet insanının dağılma karşısında tepkisizliğinin nedenleri ile devlet ve onu oluşturan insanlar arasındaki bağ göz ardı edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda; çalışmada, Sovyetler Birliği'ni dağılmaya götüren nedenlerin oluşturduğu ortamın insanlar üzerinde yarattığı etki hakkında bir değerlendirme yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışma iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde "Sovyetler Birliği'nde insan yaşamına ilişkin veriler" özellikle Sovyet arşivlerinden yararlanan çalışmalar ve resmi kaynaklar esas alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. İkinci bölümde "Sovyetler Birliği'nin dağılma nedenleri" ele alınmıştır. Sonuç kısmında ise her iki bölümde elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilerek insanların dağılma karşısında tepkisizliğinin nedenleri yorumlanmıştır
