Abstract
The ophthalmologic examination of a 45-year-old patient, who was admitted to hospital with the complaint of unilat- eral loss of vision, was consistent with frosted branch an- giitis accompanying central retinal vein occlusion. In addi- tion to creamy white exudation around vessels, widespread intraretinal and subhyaloid hemorrhage, optic disc edema, venous dilatation, and tortuosity mimicking central retinal vein occlusion were noted. Topical and systemic corticos- teroid treatment provided rapid functional and clinical re- habilitation.
