Abstract
This study addresses the Arabic dialect spoken in Dursunlu (Darsūnī), a village in the south of Hatay s Antioch district. The essential characteristics of the Dursunlu dialect are described from the standpoints of phonology and morphology; three examples are select- ed. We conclude that the Dursunlu dialect has pausal forms that influ- ence the whole morphology; some of its pausal forms are unattested so far in any other Arabic dialect.
Özet
Bu çalışma, Hatay ın Antakya ilçesinin güneyinde yer alan Dursunlu (Darsūnī) köyünde konuşulan Arap diyalektini ele almaktadır. Dursunlu diyalektinin, sesbilim ve biçimbilim yönünden ana özellikleri betimlenmiş ve üç örnek metne yer verilmiştir. Dursunlu diyalektinin, tüm biçimbilimi etkileyen durak biçimlere sahip olduğu ve bazı durak biçimlerinin şimdiye kadar incelenmiş hiçbir Arap diyalektinde görülmediği saptanmıştır.
