DETECTIONS ON ERROS IN WRITTEN EXPRESSION OF TURKISH CHILDREN LIVING IN BELGIUM

BELÇİKA'DA YAŞAYAN TÜRK ÇOCUKLARININ YAZILI ANLATIM YANLIŞLARI ÜZERİNE TESPİTLER

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine what kind of mistakes in the texts they have created in the native language of Turkish children living in Belgium. In this study in which descriptive scanning model was used. The data of this study were obtained by using document analysis and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data of the study. The study group of this research consists of 198 Turkish student age ranging between 11-15 and living in Anvers, Gent, Genk, Brussel in Belgium and also taking Turkish Language and Turkish Culture Lesson selected via randomic method. According to the findings in the study, it has been determined that word and notion transfer between languages (from Flemish to Turkish and from French to Turkish), errors and mistakes in punctuation, consonance mistakes, incoherency, transmitting of speech to written expressions are errors frequently encountered in students' written expression. The most remarkable errors in the errors detected followings: due to differences in the alphabet the incorrect writing letters of ö?o / z?s / ı?i / c?s / ş?sd?t / ü?u / ğ?y / ç?c / ç?t / s?ç / ğ?g / s?ç / y?j / ç?c / v?w / g?ğ / c?g / s?z / é; the incorrect use of period, comma, apostrophe, not the attention to vowel harmony; the incorrect use of capitalization.

Özet

Belçika'da yaşayan Türk çocuklarının ana dillerinde oluşturdukları yazılı anlatımlarında ne tür hatalar yaptıklarını tespit etmeye yönelik yapılan bu çalışma tarama modelindedir. Veriler, doküman tarama yolu ile elde edilmiş ve verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Belçika'nın Anvers, Gent, Genk, Brüksel bölgelerinde Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü Dersi alanlar arasından rastgele seçilen 11-15 yaş arası 198 Türk öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Yapılan değerlendirmeye göre öğrencilerin yazılı anlatımlarında konuşma dilinin ve ağız özelliğinin yazı diline yansımasından kaynaklanan yanlışlar; ikinci dilin (Flamanca/Fransızca) etkisinden kaynaklanan yanlışlar; noktalama yanlışları; yazım yanlışları; ses olayları yanlışları tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen bu yanlışlar içerisinde en dikkat çeken yanlışlar ise alfabelerdeki farklılıklardan dolayı ö?o / z?s / ı?i / c?s / ş?s / d?t / ü?u / ğ?y / ç?c / ç?t / s?ç / ğ?g / s?ç / y?j / ç?c / v?w / g?ğ / c?g / s?z / é harflerinin yanlış yazılması; nokta, virgül, kesme işaretinin yanlış kullanılması, ünlü uyumuna dikkat edilmemesi; büyük harfin yanlış kullanılmasıdır
