Abstract
Religious High Schools and their population, zvhich havc ahvays been on the focus of strong discussions during the period of Republic, are investigatcd on their identily search and theological foundations. The birth of these schools is merely seen as a part of a strategic attempt of Kemalism to be able it to elineh in civil society. Often, this type of an explanation also underlines the vision of these schools that comes out of a resultant from social demands, reactions, and sensitivity. Wİthout doubl, this relationship is also aimîng to strengthen the modernity of the schools. Hozoever, the contribution of the nem actors of religious zuorld to religion and the daily life has alzvaysbeen a point of discussion. This research aimed to build a map that enables to reviezv the religious schools in order to strengthen them on their theological accumulation.
Özet
Bu incelemede, Cumhuriyet Dönemi boyunca her zaman sıcak bir tartış- ma konusu olan İmam Halîp Okulları ve imam hatipliler, kimlik arayışları ve buna çok kere yön veren teolojik birikimleri temelinde ele alınmaktadır imam hatiplerin ortaya çıkışı, Kemalizm'in verili sivil topluma tutunma stratejisinin bir par- çası olarak görülür. Söz konusu açıklama, imam hatiplerin toplumsal talep, tepki ve hassasiyetlerin bir bileşkesi olarak ortaya koyduğu vizyonun da sık sık altı- nı çizer. Hiç kuşkusuz bu ilişkisellik, imam hatiplerin modern vurgusunu da güç- lendirme amacı taşır. Ancak teolojik inşa ya da bilinen anlamıyla din dünyasının yeni aktörlerinin gündelik hayata ve dinsellige katkıları her zaman tartışma yaratır. 8u çalışma söz konusu tartışmayı, mevcut gerilim modunun dışında kalarak sürdürmeyi ve imam hatipleri teolojik birikim temelinde gözden geçirmeye imkân verecek bir harita oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir.
