Abstract
Integrated reporting analyzes a firm’s performance based on both financial and non-financial information and collects this information in a single document that aims to mitigate the firm’s economic, social and governance problems. In the scope of this research, content analysis method is used to analyze and compare the 2019 integrated reports of four private and two state-owned banks within the finance sector in Turkey, in terms of the six capital types identified in the International Integrated Reporting Framework. Our objective is to identify and compare the level and quality of the disclosures about these capitals types and the related pre-determined indicators used to measure them in these two types of banks.
