Abstract
Art generally and literature particularly are mainly social because they include reflections, representations and imitations of life. Because of the social content, art also involves political dimensions. Sociology of art supposes bilateral interactions and communications between art and society. Resting on any art of the society it is possible to determine some political charecteristicts of the given society. Similarly, artistic products in any given society have the potential to influence the political mentality in the society.
Özet
Genelde sanat özelde ise edebiyat, hayatın temsilini, yansıtılmasını ya da öykünülmesini içerdiğinden, toplumsaldırlar. Sanatın toplumsal doğası onun siyasal bir içeriğe de sahip olduğunun kanıtı kabul edilmelidir. Sanat sosyoloji, sanatla toplum arasında çift taraflı bir etkileşim ve iletişim olduğunu kabul eder. Herhangi bir toplumun sanatından hareketle o toplumun siyasal yaşamına ait belirlemelerde bulunmak mümkündür. Benzer bir biçimde herhangi bir toplumdaki sanatsal üretimlerin o toplumun siyasal zihniyetine etki etme potansiyelleri vardır.
