Qualifications of Effective Teacher According to Students

Abstract

The research has been applied on students of Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, Gazi Education Faculty and without thesis master. The aim of this research is to put out that how teachers are active and effective according to students. In this study, qualitative data has been used. The data has been collected with interview forms. Interview forms have been applied inside of one year by the researchers. In the research, content and descriptive analyses have been used, for the analysis of data. According to the findings, teachers have been found ineffective by the students from angle general vocational qualifications, general personality qualifications, their qualifications inside classroom and social qualifications. Afew teachers have been found effective by the students.

Özet

Araştırma Gazi Üniversitesi Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi ve tezsiz yüksek lisans öğrencileri üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı, eğitim fakültesinde okuyan öğrenciler açısından, derslerine giren öğretmenlerin ne kadar etkin ve etkili olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel veriler üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Verilerin toplanmasında görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formu bizzat araştırmacılar tarafından bir yıl içinde bire bir uygulanmıştır. Toplanan veriler betimsel ve içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre öğrenciler, derslerine giren öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğunu; genel mesleki özellikleri, genel kişilik özellikleri, sınıf içindeki özellikleri ve sosyal özellikleri açısından etkisiz bulmuşlardır. Öğrenciler, çok az sayıdaki öğretmenlerini etkili bulduklarını belirtmişlerdir.
