Internet as a Way of Satisfying Game Hunger

Abstract

In this study, games as the best nourishment source for children and youngsters, computer games as one of the sources, the reasons of the attraction of Internet and its impact on people are examined The study benefited from scientific texts, reports of related institutions and foundations, panels, symposiums and workshops about this subject. At the end of the study, instead of preventing excessive computer and Internet games, results and suggestions for efficient and proper use of them are mentioned.

Bu çalışmada, çocuk ve gençlerin en iyi besin kaynağı olan oyunlar ile bu kaynaklardan biri olan bilgisayar oyunları ve Internet’in çekiciliğinin nedenleri, insanlar üzerindeki etkileri ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada, bilimsel metinlerden, ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların yayımladığı çalışma raporlarından, bu konuda düzenlenen panel, sempozyum ve çalıştaylardan yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda bilgisayar ve Internet oyunlarını engellemek yerine etkili ve doğru kullanımıyla ilgili sonuç ve önerilere değinilmiştir.
