The analyse of school adjustment program based on the experıences of pre school teachers and prımary school teachers

Abstract

School Adjustment Program based on the experiences of pre-school teachers and primary school teachers level of adjustment program to contribute to the training program were examined. For this purpose, following questions were asked: 1) What is the level of participation in children s school adjustment program? 2) What are the problems experienced in implementing the program? 3) What is the status of the school adjustment program to achieve the purpose? 4) The teacher s perspective, how do the parents approach the adjustment program? On the research, two of the qualitative research methods, action research model and interview technique were used. The study was carri- ed out within a simple random sampling method that is applied to 20 pre-scho- ol education and 20 classroom teachers working for state in different regions of Mersin. Personal data collected from research group was analyzed on SPSS program and personal information was calculated in terms of frequency.According to concepts extracted from the data encoding type is used. The main lines of research findings form the themes (categories) are uncovered. Based on teachers thoughts, Adjustment Program would be more effec- tive if participation of the children is exact. 1st class children s participation was more than pre-school children s. Climatic conditions of the region appears to be one of the factors that affect participation in the program.

Özet

Bu araştırmada Okula Uyum Programı ile ilgili okul öncesi öğret- menleri ile sınıf öğretmenlerinin deneyimleri alınarak uyum programının etkili- liği incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum araştır- ması modeli ve görüşme tekniği uygulanmıştır. Çalışma, Mersin ilinde basit rast gele örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen devlet okulları bünyesindeki farklı okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında görev yapan 20 okul öncesi öğretmeni ve farklı böl- gelerde görev yapan 20 sınıf öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma gru- bundan toplanan kişisel verilerin analizi SPSS 11.0 programında yapılmış ve kişisel bilgiler bölümünün frekans dağılımları verilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin görüş- lerini belirttikleri bölümün verilerinin analizinde içerik analizi uygulanmıştır.Verilerden çıkarılan kavramlara göre yapılan kodlama türü kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularının ana hatlarını oluşturacak temalar (kategoriler) ortaya çıkartılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; uyum haftasında uygulanan Uyum Programı nın çocuk- ların ve öğrencilerin katılımının tam olduğu durumlarda daha etkili olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. İlkokul 1.sınıf öğrencilerinin uyum haftasına katılımının okul öncesi eğitim alan çocuklara oranla daha fazla olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bölgenin iklim koşullarının da programa katılımı etkileyen etmenlerden biri olduğu bulunmuştur.
